Apr 5, 2024
At TeamViewer, we kicked off April by giving back to our community. We invited colleagues and their families to plant trees in a local forest near our headquarters in Göppingen, Germany.
During the event, we planted nine different tree species, carefully selected for their ability to withstand various climatic conditions. These deep-rooted trees are designed to access water during dry summers and remain stable during severe storms. Over the next few decades, these trees will grow into a thriving forest, naturally absorbing CO₂ and storing carbon in their biomass. In collaboration with Planted and the Göppingen municipality, a total of 5,000 trees will be planted to help restore the forest and enhance its ecosystem.
Thank you to all our colleagues and their families who participated and made a positive impact on their community and environment.
An essential part of TeamViewer's environmental efforts is encouraging our colleagues to think and act sustainably. One of the ways we achieve this is through our Climate Action Working Group, an employee-led initiative focused on developing and implementing projects that support the environment. The group has organized global Clean-Up Days and different internal awareness initiatives.
By fostering a culture of sustainability, we aim to inspire continuous efforts towards a greener future.
